Born 1979, American Artist, b. Fort Worth, TX. Adam Johnson has always had an interest in art from the very beginning. At the age of fifteen he moved from Fort Worth to Port Aransas, TX. Then at seventeen he went to The Art Institute of Houston where he studied computer animation and traditional art. Since completing his formal training he pursued his art in Fort Worth, TX, Denver, CO, and Philadelphia, PA, before returning to Port Aransas in 2006. During this time he practiced his art as a graphic artist, web designer, and art director. Mr. Johnson's art subjects include surfing, oceanscapes, landscapes, and nature. Watercolor paper was used for its intense texture that I wanted to show through on this piece. It was 124# Canson rough.

Well done.. but I have a question. Why did you use watercolor paper for a pastel?
